Senior Executives
This is an individual at the highest level of the organisational management structure who will have the day-to-day responsibilities of managing a company or corporation. Typical role titles would be CEO, CFO & MD.
Directors
A Director is a person from a group of managers who leads or supervises a particular area of a company, program, or project. Companies that use this term often have many directors spread throughout different business functions or roles (e.g. Sales Director, Operations Director, IT Director, Director of Human Resources).
National Managers
National Manager is a term used by many companies for individuals who work on a national basis and are not tied into any one branch or office. The National Manager may work on their own in the case of sales development, they are called a National Manager as they cover the entire country and focus on large revenue national clients within multiple outlets.

In other departments a National Manager may also manage a large national work force, which could include Regional Managers & Area Managers.

Regional Managers
Regional Managers are usually in charge of a large regional workforce, incorporating many different branches or offices. This could be in sales or operations. They are fully responsible for all activity within the region, so must know the business inside-out. It is essential that the job holder commands authority but is also approachable
General Managers
A General Manager is any executive who has overall responsibility for managing both the revenue and cost elements of a company or branch’s income statement, known as profit & loss (P&L) responsibility. A General Manager usually oversees most or all of the firm’s marketing and sales functions as well as the day-to-day operations of the business. Frequently, the General Manager is responsible for effective planning, delegating, co-ordinating, staffing, organising, and decision making to attain desirable profit making results for an organisation.
Managers
Manager is a term used by many companies for individuals who generally work under a General Manager in a department within a branch or office. The Manager will run a small team or be considered senior enough to hold the title of Manager. Some typical role titles would be :- Customer Service Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Payroll Manager, IT Manager, Administration Manager, HR Manager, Operations Manager, Transport Manager, Fleet Manager.
